Project details
When the cost of supporting the CP1600 processor in the TABs main
wagering terminal, the TIM360, became to high I suggested that they
replace 3 of the 6 boards with a single board. I detailed how and why
this should be done. The details of the board were not designed by me
but I reviewed them and did most of the hardware debugging. I also did
the development of the low level software to interface to the hardware.
The applications were ported across from another of our terminals. This
board is now present in all 1400 of the TIM360 terminals. The J360 project is also covered in the software section.
